The Red Balloon

A little boy, fascinated by the seeing of his balloon flying away, becomes its captive inhabitant.

He journeys happily inside the balloon through what seems to be his own life, till a burst brings him down to Earth.
Lost and despaired, as an old man, his hand searches gropingly to get hold of something that brings him back to the present.
