Once There Was A Way

Helen, a powerful executive, is dead. She exists in limbo, a place between life and death where she must acknowledge her transition in order to move on. Limbo is different for each person, as it is generated by powerful influences on a person's life- a location of a significant event, a favourite song or a beloved relative. Helen is visited by Michael, a guardian angel of sorts who gives himself the personality most likely to get her attention, and the appearance of her Grandfather as a young man. In this way he tries to get behind her practiced shell of distance, allowing Helen to have acceptance of herself and (eventually) to move on.
