Show Me Shorts Film Festival

THE FESTIVAL

The SHOW ME SHORTS Film Festival was launched in 2006 and is now in its third year.
SHOW ME SHORTS is a competitive festival for short films made in New Zealand and Australia. There are prizes for Best Film, Best Student Film, Best Technical Contribution and a Special Jury Prize. These categories aim to reward a range of film-making skills, and encourage both amateur and professional film-makers to submit their work.

The festival screens around 40 short films over a period of one week in each of the main New Zealand cities, plus some smaller regional locations. These films are diverse, with all genres from drama to animation and horror to documentary accepted.

This year, entries are open from 9 March to 6 July for 2009. To see if your film is eligable, go to our Guidelines page.
