Short Sited Film Festival

For one night only, the Illawarra's largest and longest running film festival, Short Sited, will emerge from the murky mists to celebrate its 13th year... with a stab at some spooky horror film fun, as well as the usual selection of strange and wonderful films from the Illawarra and the nation!

A word from the Festival Director

“The howling wind lashes the coastline of the Illawarra, lightning bolts strike the highlands, rain heavily pelts against a window as a shadow moves across a um... yeah, I’m trying to set a mood. Well, a creepy clichéd mood in fact, and not even a good one at that. So that’s where I’d like you, the auteur filmmaker, to come in and help us out.

For its 13th year, the Short Sited Film Festival is looking for spooky tales to fill out some of the competition screening program within the special category of Horror All Ages!

The definition of horror is up to you. If you think you’ve got the ideas to make people squirm in their seats, hide under their arms or run out of the theatre feeling sick - we want to see it! If not, we still want to see your comedies, dramas, animations, in fact all genres, packed into our entry mailbox.

Date: Friday, March 13, 2009
Time: Screening 7.30pm
Location: Uni Hall, University of Wollongong
Street: Northfields Ave
City/Town: Wollongong, Australia
