The aims of the Festival are to:

(a) raise awareness around a range of issues connected with food production, agriculture, fishing and food retailing at the global and national levels,
(b) promote the need for changes in attitudes and practices to support sustainable, resilient and more locally-based food systems,
(c) help raise funds to support young local film-makers who want to make documentaries about our local and regional food and agricultural traditions, and
(d) entertain audiences & provide them with a good night out.
