The mission of the Angry Film Festival is to expose short films to a live audience. Many filmmakers thrive on having their film seen in front of a cinema audience to see the reaction their film will provoke.

Entry fee is $25. Entry fee for International films is free.

The only criteria is that films must be under 15 minutes.

If your film is not selected for the Angry Film festival chances are you may be selected for West Side Shorts which is a monthly film night held at the Customs House Hotel in Williamstown.

Deadline is the 10th February 2010.

The Festival will be held over two nights. One night is dedicated to Australian Shorts and the second night to International films.

MOVIE EXTRA who are also naming rights sponsors of Tropfest will be sponsoring a cash prize of $500 to the winner of Best Film in the Australian Shorts section.

NPG Productions will be awarding $200 to Best Director.

MADMAN is sponsoring $300 worth of DVDs and SIRENS VISUAL is sponsoring $150 worth of DVDs.

SCREEN HUB is sponsoring a one-year subscription for every entry! That's right! So just for entering you receive a prize!

Starnow.com is sponsoring a one-year membership and $100 cash to the Best Actor in the Australian Shorts section.

Every entry also receives two tickets to be used on both nights of the film festival.
