The International Film College (IFC) is the Gold Coast’s newest and most exciting training facility, dedicated entirely to film and television training. Commencing with Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses in 2008, the IFC will offer the finest tuition from some of the industry’s most experienced practitioners. First and foremost, IFC is a privately owned facility operated by a team of working film professionals with years of industry and teaching experience. All IFC courses are delivered by carefully chosen film, television and multimedia technicians, enabling IFC to provide the most relevant and up-to-date training to its students.
Based in Burleigh Heads at the Gold Coast Education Campus, the IFC is part of a Creative Industries network that incorporates Screen Performance, Stunt Performing, Make-up and Fashion/Costume Design. This collaboration enables IFC students to associate with other industry related training providers on their projects.
IFC has its own production house, The Cutting Room Floor. This arm of IFC is designed to bring outside production into the College, providing students with the chance to interact with real clients on real jobs and gain real experience.
IFC has only one aim; to provide students with the necessary skills to be the finest film and television technicians, capable of working anywhere in the world.
