Synopsis

 This short film is set in England. Burger is a young English archeologist who has made a strange archeological find. His passion for answers, combined with a long-harboured resentment, leads him to make some unusual choices in his quest for the truth and revenge.

This short film is based on the short story The New Catacomb' (1898) by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The New Catacomb' was set in Rome. The archeologist in the story has discovered a new catacomb. The Roman catacombs were Christian burial tombs, or underground cemeteries. They were also used as shrines and places of worship.
