You think Tropfest is big? Well 250,000 viewers are tuning in weekly to watch YOUR films. And now we're playing in New Zealand too... And who knows how many people live there?!

The Short Film Show is seeking short films and animations to broadcast on Australian Television in the next few months. If your film gets played, it also gets constructively reviewed by industry professionals and practitioners. Your feedback will break down and discuss the elements of film making that our hosts and guests found so enjoyable in the selected films. The discussions are positive, humerous and entertaining. And most importantly they serve as invaluable unbiased feedback for the filmmakers themselves, and as tips and advise for those setting out to make a film or animation.

We charge no fees to have your works entered, and we require no exclusive rights (you of course may continue to submit your film elsewhere) - though we do ask that you own all rights for sound, music and videos materials used in your films. We do not screen music videos or documentaries at this stage.
